I’m looking for a long-term employment within the Drilling or Construction side of the Oil & Gas industry.   

I’ve been following the path of the seafarer since my graduation from Maritime and river college (June 2002) Marine Navigation/ College diploma. Then I graduated from Technical university (July 2006) Marine Transport Operations / 2nd level academic degree in engineering. Since then I have worked as Safety and Navigational and DP Officer on a number of different vessels (PLSV/ROV, PSV and AHTS, Crude Oil Tankers and Container carriers, Multy-purpose and Dry Cargo vessels), each one adding to my pool of experience. DPO experience with Kongsberg, Rolls-Royce, L3/Nautronix DP 2 and DP 1 systems. Understanding of DP system solutions and customer demands.

          A brief list of my main advantages and skills which make me competitive among the others and can be beneficial for the Co. : my age (29 years); experience in offshore/construction/subsea fleet (Rigid, flexible pipelaying, umbilicals,ROV survey, AH and Supply operations); well experienced with heavy-lift cranes (SWL till 125t); good knowledge of Health & Safety Awareness; good organization skills; reliable and punctual; I’m very safety conscientious and a hard worker always willing to learn; i work good as a team member and also alone, as required; excellent PC and other PC based systems literate; confident English language, Portuguese (Br) and Spanish on self-learning level.

         I extremely interested in the work of DPO/ Navigational officer on DP Drillships or MODU, DSV, Cable- or Pipe- laying vessel. Because I have been focused on developing a career in the Drilling since my first offshore role. Given my commitment to this sector I am willing to consider a range of roles in line with my level of experience.
